“Love is in the air….”

Valentine’s Day is February 14! That is why our regular dance evening in De Doelen Studio is all about love this time. We celebrate the love for yourself, your partner, family, friends or your pet with a dance. Because we love to dance!

𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

– Slow Bal workshop, the perfect romantic dance
– Immortalize your dearest self (alone or with a loved one) in the photobooth
– Slow music to dance to all night long

Dress code: red / pink

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗕𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽

Deirdre and Joost from Slowfeet Studio give a dance workshop in Slow Bal. It is a playful and elegant partner dance from the 1940s to slow jazz music from that time. Slow Ball is a Swing dance, just like the more famous Charleston and Lindy Hop. Although Slow Balboa was originally a romantic dance, today it is more about the connection you make with your partner and the music. Regardless of whether that’s your partner, a casual acquaintance, or even someone you’ve never met!

Participation in the workshop is free. No need to bring a partner!

Before the workshop there is the opportunity to eat at Maher’s Kitchen (yummy!). Book by Thursday via the website of De Doelen!
